Mah Jongg is a game that orignates from China. The game is widely played across China, Japana and other countries of East and Southeast Asia. It blends elements of dominoes and poker, and requires skills such as bluffing, observation, calculation, and memory. The element of luck depends on the variant of the game being played. In Asia, Mah Jongg is sometimes played as gambling game. Depending on the variant, each player receives 13 or 16 tiles. The goal of the game is to gather as many tiles as possible.
The game differs from Mah Jongg Solitaire, a single-player game using the same tiles as Mah Jongg.
