TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Prices
Unless indicated otherwise by Chess & Games Shop, prices are indicated in Euros and are deemed to be exclusive of import taxes, delivery costs and postage.
The agreement
Should Chess & Games Shop accept a Purchase Order and issue an Order Confirmation, then a sale agreement (the "Agreement") shall be entered into by and between Chess & Games Shop and you whereby Chess & Games Shop shall sell, and you shall buy, the Products set forth in the Order Confirmation. The Agreement shall be composed of, and governed by the terms and conditions set forth in, the following documents, ordered by decreasing importance, i.e. (1 step) these GTC, (2 step) the Order Confirmation and (3 step) the Purchase Order. In case of discrepancies between the provisions contained in those documents of different ranks, the provisions of the higher rank document shall prevail.
Ordering via bank transfer:
Step 1: Entering relevant data for delivery and payment - and this point, you are not legally obligated to pay.
Step 2: Confirm and/or edit the order before placement - at this point, you are not legally obligated to order and pay.
Step 3: The order is confirmed and legally binding. You will receive an electronic receipt - at this point you are legally obligated to order and pay.
Ordering via Paypal:
Step 1: Entering relevant data for delivery and payment - and this point, you are not legally obligated to pay.
Step 2: Confirm and/or edit the order before placement - at this point, you are not legally obligated to order and pay.
Step 3: You will be redirected to Paypal to confirm the order. Selecting the 'Pay Now' option confirms the payment - at this point you are legally obligated to order and pay.
The order is put into a queue, and the buyer receives a message containing an order confirmation with the status 'IN PROGRESS.' The buyer is able to cancel the order via e-mail within two hours of submitting the order. The order is stored in an Archive on the seller's server.
Delivery and payment
The service provider promises to deliver the ordered goods within the agreed upon time.
The ordered Products will be delivered at the delivery address indicated in the Order Confirmation. You must therefore verify that such address is correct and inform Chess & Games Shop staff of any error or change without delay by e-mail.
You will assume all responsibility and shall bear all expenses incurred arising out of, or in connection with, the indication of an incomplete or incorrect address.
Articles listed as 'Available' will be shipped within 3 work days of receiving the order. Unavailable articles are dependant on their availability from manufacturers and should be inquired about via e-mail prior to ordering.
Delivery fees and payment
1. We offer worldwide shipping.
2. Delivery is via a third party courier.
3. All deliveries are sent with registered couriers and must be signed for at time of delivery.
4. Shipping address cannot be changed once order(s) has been shipped.
5. As the registered couriers are third-party courier companies, we are unable to control their delivery time. The courier is also unable to ring you prior or during delivery.
6. If the delivery is to your home address, it is best to ensure someone is home to receive the goods. If not, we recommend using an alternative, like your work address for delivery.
7. If you are not home at the time of delivery additional delivery charges may apply.
8. Order(s) cannot be cancelled once shipped.
9. Shipping time may vary depending on your location, please allow 2 to 10 days for delivery.
10. Shipping charges are determined by packing size, weight and delivery location.
11. All deliveries have tracking number except deliveries with weight less than 1kg and within EU - if chosen (read No.12)
12. For EU residents and companies - if delivery weight is less than 1 kg, you may choose whether or not to use shipment tracking. In the event of purchasing without tracking, we are unable to 100% guarantee a shipment's safe delivery.
13. Non-EU residents - all shipping charges are calculated for economy postage, if you prefer air please send us an e-mail.
Bank transfer
If you have opted for payment via bank transfer, a message will be sent to the recepient's e-mail adress with all the required info. Once the transfer to our company account has been made, the order will be shipped to the provided delivery adress.
Import duty
If you order Products from the Site, they may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be sole responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes.
Please note that Chess & Games Shop has no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.
Please also note that you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the products are destined. Chess & Games Shop will not be liable for any breach by you of any such laws.
Privacy policy
By registering, the user agrees to allow the shop to collect and use personal information, provided with the purchase. The information provided will be used exclusively for internal requirements and payment processing. All data provided when ordering is used exclusively within muba-bk.si's business operations and will not under be shared or provided to third parties. The shop stores the data proved at registration and future changes made by the user, in a secure system.
Data security
Chess & Games Shop undertakes to comply with all applicable legal standards when gathering, processing and using your personal data.

Return policy
If you are unsatisfied with your order of Products, you may cancel your order at any time within thirty (30) days, beginning on the day after you received the Products.
In this case, you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the Products in accordance with article 13 below.
To cancel an order of Products, you must inform Chess & Games Shop in writing.
You must also return the Products to Chess & Games Shop immediately in their original condition and packaging to the following address: Chess & Games Shop, Spikova 13, 4000 Kranj, Slovenia, and at your own cost and risk.
You have a legal obligation to take personal care of the Products while they are in your possession.
It is recommended to inspect the contents of the package in the presence of the courier.
Chess & Games Shop will not be responsible or liable if any Product you wish to return is delivered late or lost.
In addition, Chess & Games Shop has sole discretion in determining whether the Products are in original condition when returned to Chess & Games Shop.
In the event of cancellation or return, we would be happy to hear you reasoning, as that will assist us in improving our services in the future.
Return of goods for legal entities
Orders placed by legal entities such as companies are eligible to a return of goods within warranty. Afformentioned entities are ineligible to withdrawal from the contract within 14 days, as is the case for consumers (physical entities). Refunding the purchase is not available.
We do not accept return shipments with payment requirements.
Product errors
What is a product error? It is when:
An item does not have properties, required for its intended use or service
an item does not have properties, required for the purpose the buyer purchased the item for, and this was reasonably known to the seller
an item does not have properties and features that were explicitly or implicitly agreed upon or specified
a seller provides an item, not matching a sample or display model, excluding samples and display models shown purely symbolically.
How can one confirm an item's suitability?
Compare the items to another, perfect-condition item of the same type, while also considering the manufacturer's statements and statements on the article itself.
How to invoke a product error?
In the event of a product error, the buyer should provide an in-depth description of this error in the legally defined time space, as well as ellow us to inspect the item in question. In the event of a product error, please inform us of the error via our e-mail address at [email protected].
The right to invoke a product error on an item is in more detail defined by the consumer safety laws (ZVPot (point 7 of article 25b, ZVPot)
Complaints
In the event that an item was damaged in transport, immediately report this to the delivery service and inform us at [email protected]. In the event that you received an incorrect or defective item, we will replace or refund the item. Please inspect the package at time of delivery.
Complaint process
At Metanet d.o.o., we strive to satisfy our customers, improve the quality of our service, and to professionally and correctly perform our services. At the same time, we are aware that at times, our decisions or actions may differ from those expected by the customer. If such a scenario arises, we have created an internal process to resolve complaints and foresee the possibility of resolving potetntial conflicts outside legal processes.

PERSONALIZED PRODUCTS
We create personalized products, including engraved items, with great care. However, please note that personalized products cannot be returned or exchanged unless there is a manufacturing defect or error. The most suitable area on the product for engraving is selected based on our experience. We also choose the font and size of the text. Of course, we are happy to accommodate your wishes as well.
